About me

Hi there (hmm, nah), Hey (nice horsey), Hello (boorring), hmm where was I? ::shrugs:: Anyway, my name is Stephen, and this is my third or fourth attempt to make a somewhat decent web page. As you can see by this glorious tribute to that who is me, that I am obviously the best web page writer around ::grin:: Aww c'mon, at least try and read that with a straight face. But I digress, I'm 18 years old and live in the tar heel state (have fun looking it up).

My lil bros and I have been home schooled since I was in the 4th grade, my youngest brother never went to public school (lucky him). My brother and I are currently going to the College of the Albemarle. I didn't get into UNC-Chapel Hill because is seems that because home school grades aren't standardized colleges can't easily compare them with the grades that people that went to high-school got. I can understand their viewpoint but it's rather frustrating to get the short end of the stick like this. Anyway, now I'm studying and taking general college courses here and will transfer when they see that yes, I do know something after all :-)

I play magic the gathering, and lotsa computer games. I hang on irc at events.scifi.com port 6667 pretty much every night. Stop by and chat sometime. If you don't already have it get mIRC, if you are using a pc it's the best irc chat program around. I sign on as Gulthek usually (no it's not a Cardasian name. You are thinking of Gul'dukat, Gul is a Cardasian rank. If you don't know what Cardasian is, stock up on your pop culture and watch some startrek), Gulthek is a character name I'm using in a fantasy story that I am attempting to write :-).

I love to play basketball and swim in the summer, this year is the tenth anniversary that my swim team (The Seahawks) and the Duck Woods swim team have been swimming against each other.

The earliest computer game I remember playing is Zork by Infocom on the Atari (still hooked up and working). They made the best computer games I've ever played, though lucasarts adventure games are always cool. My bros and I also own a Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and Nintendo 64. Also we have a 3dfx graphics card in the computer, the Diamond Monster 3d. I highly recommend that card to anyone.

Grats if you actually read through that mindless mess, you deserve a reward...yes you certainly do.
